“CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU B Zonal Qualifiers Rescheduled by WAFU B EXCO”

The West Africa Football Union B (WAFU B) Zonal Executive Committee has officially rescheduled the CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU B Zonal Qualifiers. The tournament, originally set to begin on 9th August, will now take place from 23rd August to 4th September 2025 in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire.

According to the WAFU B Secretariat, the date change was necessary to allow participating teams to finalize “critical organizational arrangements ahead of kickoff.” The date for the group stage draw will be announced in due course.

Meanwhile, the CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU A Zonal Qualifiers are scheduled to take place in Senegal from 5th to 17th August 2025, featuring five competing nations.

Seven national champions are set to compete in the WAFU B qualifiers: Bayelsa Queens (Nigeria), ASEC Mimosas Ladies (Ivory Coast), AS GNN Ladies (Niger), USFA Ladies (Burkina Faso), ASKO Ladies (Togo), Sam Nelly (Benin), and Police Ladies (Ghana).
