Trossard Urges Arsenal to Stay Focused Ahead of Key Champions League Clash with Bayern

Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard has stressed the importance of focus and resilience as the Gunners prepare for their UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.
The first leg ended in a thrilling 2-2 draw at the Emirates Stadium, with Trossard and Bukayo Saka cancelling out goals from Harry Kane and Serge Gnabry, leaving the tie finely poised heading into the return leg.
In a pre-match interview, Trossard emphasised the need for character and composure, acknowledging Bayern’s home advantage while highlighting Arsenal’s ability to rise to the occasion.
“Every game is tough. We experienced that in the group stage, as well as against Porto and in the last game, but I think we’ve shown character, especially in the last match where we came back,” Trossard said. “It’s a top side we’re playing against and they can hurt you in many different ways, so we need to be at the top of our game.”
A victory over Bayern would see Arsenal reach the Champions League semi-finals for the first time since 2006, when they went on to reach the final but narrowly missed out on the title, losing to Barcelona.
With the Gunners’ quest for a historic return to Europe’s elite stage on the line, Trossard and his teammates will need to combine tactical discipline, focus, and determination to secure a spot in the last four.
