U-20 AFCON: Black Satellites have impressed, hoping they qualify for World Cup – Kofi Adams

Minister for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has expressed confidence in the Black Satellites ahead of their crucial U-20 AFCON quarterfinal clash against Egypt.

Ghana takes on the host nation today at the New Suez Stadium, with a spot in the semifinals  and a ticket to the U-20 FIFA World Cup in Chile  up for grabs.

Speaking to Asempa FM, the Buem MP commended the team’s performance so far and expressed hope they’ll secure qualification.

“This U-20 team has done well so far,” Adams noted. “We just pray luck is on their side so Ghana can be one of the teams to make it to the World Cup in Chile later this year. I believe in them and wish them the very best, they have what it takes to make us proud.”
