Milan claim maiden Champions League victory as Giroud’s header downs PSG.

AC Milan claimed their first Champions League victory of the season with a 2-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain in a thrilling Group F encounter. The Rossoneri turned the match around early in the second half when Olivier Giroud rose to meet Theo Hernandez’s cross and powered a header into the net just five minutes after the break.
PSG had initially taken the lead through Milan Skriniar, who nodded in at the back post following a Marquinhos flick-on. However, Rafael Leao quickly restored parity with a spectacular overhead kick, capitalizing on Giroud’s saved effort to keep the hosts in the contest.
The win propels AC Milan to third place in the group with five points, trailing Borussia Dortmund by one point, while PSG sits second with six points. Milan will look to build on this result when they host Dortmund on November 28, keeping their hopes alive of progressing to the knockout stages of Europe’s premier club competition.
