Asher-Smith feeling better ahead of Paris 2024 Olympic Games

Great Britain sprint queen – Geraldina “Dina” Rachel Asher-Smith has revealed that she’s feeling quite superior going into the 2024 Olympic Games which starts this week in Paris, France.
The fastest British woman on record [Asher-Smith] has faced a tumultuous season this term, but she seem to have hit the right note at the right time prior to the Paris 2024 having ran her season best [22.07] to finish third in the women’s 200m race in London last Saturday which featured a strong field such as; Gabby Thomas, Julien Alfred, and her compatriot – Daryll Neita.
Speaking about the inconsistencies that has plagued her season, the Orpington [London] born sprinter said she’s frustrated, but her only delight is doing 22 zero close to the Olympics:
“I am a little frustrated but on the other hand it is my best time in two years and I am feeling fit and healthy going into the Olympics so that is the most important thing just now.
“I am in so much better shape than before Tokyo so that bodes well. I felt there was still a bit more in me today and a few more things to work on but overall to do 22 zero this close to the Games is pleasing.
Asher-Smith is credited as the first Briton to win three medals at a World Championships, and the first British woman to win a World title in a sprint event.
She has led Team Great Britain to win two Olympic bronze medals [2016 in Rio, and 2020 in Tokyo] in the women’s 4x100m relays.
