Eseme Emmanuel touts his performance after second Diamond League win

Cameroonian sprinter – Emmanuel Alobwede Eseme is delighted about how his season has gone so far for him.
The Accra 2023 100m champion [Eseme] currently stands atop the Diamond League table having won two race in the men’s 100m dash.
First, the 30-year-old sprinter stunned Canada’s Andre De Grasse to win the Rabat Diamond League, clocking 10.11 seconds.
Emmanuel Eseme again sprinted to a 100-metre win at the Diamond League Stockholm race on Sunday with a time of 10.16 seconds, ahead of King Kyre [10.18] of USA, and Ali Chituru [10.19] of Italy.
“I just told myself to stick to the guys during the first part of the race, and I am really happy to come back with a second Diamond League victory this season,” Eseme said.
“My season has gone pretty well so far thanks to my training setting in Portugal. Compared to last year I worked on my acceleration part and it paid off,” he added.
Eseme made his intentions known going into the African Championships:
“Next up are the African Championships where I want to perform well.”
