XXIII Commonwealth Games: Media accreditation process for Glasgow 2026 officially opened

The media accreditation application process for the XXIII Commonwealth Games, otherwise known as Glasgow 2026 has officially been open.
The accreditation form is meant for the below listed media groups:
Non-rights holding TV broadcasters
Non-rights holding radio broadcasters
Content creators
Podcasters
According to the organizers, however, any rights holding broadcasters wishing to be accredited should contact their organisation’s accreditation liaison officer for more information.
There are three accreditation categories for the media;
Press [E]
Photographer [Ep]
Non-Rights Holder [ENR]
Meanwhile, content creators and podcasters approved for accreditation will fall into the category of non-rights holding broadcaster.
The accreditation form is in two folds. That is, one step application for individuals.
And another one for organisations wishing to make multiple applications on behalf of their staff.
For instance, if you are applying for more than 10 people from your organisation you will have to get in touch with the Press Operations Team via mediaoperations@glasgow2026.com to discuss.
The deadline for applications is 24 April, 2026
