Anthony Joshua involved in a car crash that leaves two dead in Nigeria

World-renowned boxer Anthony Joshua was involved in a road accident today in Makun, Ogun State.
Eyewitnesses report that the incident occurred along a busy highway of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway around past 11am on Monday afternoon.
The vehicle carrying Joshua, a Lexus Jeep with the number plate, KRD 850 HN, reportedly collided with a stationary truck under circumstances that are still being investigated.

Our reporter who reached out to PUNCH Online, who was also part of the rescue mission, said Joshua sustained minor injuries, saying that two people died on the spot.
The crash occurred days after Joshua knocked out YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in Miami. Joshua broke Paul’s jaw in two places in a fight viewed by over 30m people on Netflix.
