National Sports College Graduates 35 Strength and Power Coaches

The National Sports College (NSC) has graduated 35 new strength and power coaches, equipped with the skills to enhance athlete performance in Ghana.

The three-day course, led by Dr. Kyle Pierce of Louisiana State University, focused on optimizing athlete performance from warm-up to peak levels.

At the closing ceremony, NSC Director General Mr. Bawah Fuseini praised Dr. Pierce’s dedication and announced plans to introduce two international programmes – sports law and football agency – in the coming year, supported by experts from Portugal.

“Quality learning time is invaluable, and I encourage you to make the most of the training you’ve received,” Mr. Fuseini said.

Technical Director Mr. Emmanuel Appiah commended the participants and highlighted ongoing efforts to roll out more professional courses.

Dr. Pierce expressed satisfaction with the coaches’ engagement and revealed that talks are underway to offer additional training in partnership with Louisiana State University.

The graduation marks another milestone in the NSC’s efforts to enhance sports performance in Ghana, with plans to further develop coaching expertise and infrastructure.
