“Tottenham’s Thomas Frank Confirms Kudus Out with Serious Quad Injury, Set to Return After March”

Tottenham Hotspur forward and Ghana international Mohammed Kudus is set to be sidelined until March following a serious quad injury, manager Thomas Frank has confirmed. The 25-year-old was forced off early in Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Sunderland and now faces a lengthy recovery period.
“Kudus unfortunately has a more serious issue involving the tendon in the quad,” Frank revealed. “We expect him to return after the March international break.”
As a result, Kudus is set to miss at least 11 matches for Spurs, including their final two group-stage UEFA Champions League games against Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt. His absence will also likely extend to Ghana’s squad during the March international break, including the highly-anticipated clash with Germany.
If he recovers as expected, Kudus could feature for Tottenham in Premier League matches against Liverpool and Nottingham Forest after the international break. Otherwise, he may not return until Tottenham’s home fixture against Sunderland in April.
