Arsenal Triumph Over Porto in Champions League Shootout

Arsenal booked their place in the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time since 2010 after a dramatic penalty shootout victory over Porto. Trailing 1-0 from the first leg, the Gunners pulled level when Leandro Trossard scored just four minutes before halftime, finishing a well-orchestrated move led by captain Martin Ødegaard.

Despite a tense and hard-fought match, neither team could find a winner in regulation or extra time, sending the tie to penalties. Arsenal held their composure in the shootout, with Ødegaard, Kai Havertz, Bukayo Saka, and Declan Rice all converting successfully. Goalkeeper David Raya made crucial saves to deny Wendell and Galeno, sealing the triumph for the English side.

The win sparked celebrations among Mikel Arteta’s squad and marked a significant milestone in Arsenal’s Champions League campaign, setting up a quarter-final clash against Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
