Eden Hazard Enters Premier League Hall of Fame

Belgian football star Eden Hazard has been officially inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame, joining former Manchester United defender Gary Neville as the two players selected for induction this year by the 24 existing Hall of Fame members. The honour recognises players who have made outstanding contributions to the league, with Hazard celebrated for his exceptional influence and artistry during his years in England.

The Premier League Hall of Fame, created in 2020 with its first inductions a year later, honours individuals who have achieved exceptional success and left a lasting mark on the league since its inception in 1992.

Hazard joined Chelsea in 2012 from Lille and quickly established himself as one of the Premier League’s most electrifying talents. Known for his mesmerising dribbling, close control, and ability to create moments of magic, the Belgian playmaker became the heartbeat of Chelsea’s attack for seven seasons. During his Premier League career, Hazard made 245 appearances, scored 85 goals, and registered 54 assists.

His individual accolades include being named Premier League Player of the Season in 2014–15, guiding Chelsea to the title under José Mourinho. He also played a key role in the 2016–17 title-winning campaign under Antonio Conte, further cementing his reputation as one of the league’s finest players.

Beyond statistics, Hazard’s brilliance was defined by his flair and consistency, producing countless unforgettable moments — from dazzling solo runs to clutch goals — that enthralled fans across England.

Hazard becomes the sixth Chelsea legend to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, joining Petr Čech, John Terry, Ashley Cole, Frank Lampard, and Didier Drogba. As part of the honour, he received an engraved medallion and the Premier League made a £10,000 donation to a charity of his choice.

With this induction, Eden Hazard’s name now sits among the legends of the Premier League, a fitting tribute to one of football’s true entertainers.
