Jamaican sprint idol Thompson-Herah links with luxury fashion house

Double-double Olympic champion, Elaine Thompson-Herah has been named among 15 female athletes selected as brand ambassadors for luxury fashion house, Christian Dior.
For the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024, which will primarily be held within the City of Light, Dior is weaving exceptional new dialogues with fascinating international athletes who embody ultimate audacity and are driven by a desire to surpass oneself.
Regarded as one of the greatest sprinters of all time, she is a five-time Olympic champion, the fastest woman alive in the 100m and the second fastest alive in the 200m. However, she will not defend her 200m Olympic crown in Paris.
Other ambassadors include, fencers Sara Balzer, Misaki Emura, Arianna Errigo, Rossella Fiamingo, Andreea Mogoș, Loredana Trigilia, Beatrice Vio Grandis and Alice Volpi; judoka Clarisse Agbégnénou; swimmer Emma McKeon; surfer Carissa Moore; soccer player Alex Morgan; boxer Estelle Mossely; and skateboarder Louise-Aïna Taboulet.
