“I am not going to let that happen again” – Noah Lyles pledges ahead of 100m semis

After been surprised by Louie Hindcliffe in the men’s 100m heat on Saturday, world champion – Noah Lyles has primised to revise his note ahead of the semi-final.
The American superstar [Noah Lyles] ran 10.04 seconds to finish behind Louie Hindcliffe [9.98] and admitted to being a little surprised by coming second to Hinchliffe, saying:
“[Racing at the Olympics] wasn’t tougher but I more expected that they [the opposition] would just fall in line. And they didn’t, they took it as their chance of ‘I’ve got one shot’ and they are going to take it.
“I should have expected that, knowing this is the Olympics. But this is my first time in the Olympic 100m. I didn’t and that’s on me but I am not going to let that happen again. Now I can’t hold back.”

Last year’s three-time world champion added:
“This is a lot different to Tokyo. Last time it was no fans, no energy, back then I was fighting to get into the conversation but now I am the headline of sprint.
Comparing the experience of the Tokyo 2020 to the Paris 2024 Games, the three-time world champion said:

Noah Lyles is looking to become American man to complete 100m and 200m Olympic double since Carl Lewis in Seoul 1988.
