Messi’s World Cup Hotel Room Set to Become Museum Exhibit

Argentina captain and 2022 World Cup winner Lionel Messi’s hotel room in Qatar is set to be transformed into a mini museum, according to Qatar University. The room will no longer be available for regular visitors but will instead be preserved as a permanent exhibit showcasing Messi’s belongings for students and visitors.

“The room of Argentina national team player Lionel Messi will remain unchanged and will be available only for visitors, not for residence,” said Hitmi al Hitmi, director of communications and public relations at Qatar University, speaking to Al Sharq. “Messi’s belongings will serve as a legacy for students and future generations, bearing witness to the great achievements Messi reached during the World Cup.”

Messi led Argentina to a memorable victory over France in the 2022 World Cup final, securing the nation’s third title and the first World Cup of his illustrious career.
