Arsenal beat Man United to boost Champions League hopes

Arsenal strengthened their hopes of qualifying for next season’s Champions League with a 3-1 victory over Manchester United, keeping their place in the Premier League’s top four.
The Gunners took an early lead when Nuno Tavares pounced on poor defending to tap the ball into the net. Bukayo Saka then extended the advantage by converting a first-half penalty.
Cristiano Ronaldo pulled a goal back for United on his return to the starting lineup, but Bruno Fernandes missed a second-half penalty that could have levelled the game.
Arsenal sealed the win when Granit Xhaka struck a fine finish, securing the club’s second win in four days and delivering a crucial boost to their Champions League ambitions.
