“Antoine Semenyo: ‘I’m Proud to Join Manchester City’”

Ghana international Antoine Semenyo has completed a high-profile move to Manchester City from Bournemouth, describing himself as “proud” to join the Premier League champions. The 26-year-old forward, who was reportedly wanted by multiple clubs, signed a five-and-a-half-year deal worth £65 million, keeping him at City until 2031.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Semenyo expressed his admiration for City’s recent success. “I am so proud to have joined Manchester City. I have watched City over the last decade under Pep Guardiola, and they have been the dominant team in the Premier League as well as achieving amazing things in the Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup,” he said.

Semenyo made 110 appearances for Bournemouth across all competitions and has established himself as a key figure for Ghana at the international level. At City, he is expected to bring pace, flair, and additional goal threat as Pep Guardiola’s side pursue multiple titles this season.

The forward could make his debut as early as Tuesday in Manchester City’s Carabao Cup semi-final first leg against Newcastle United.
