Inter Milan reach first Champions League final in 13 years.

Inter Milan booked their first Champions League final in 13 years after Lautaro Martinez’s late strike secured a 1-0 second-leg victory over rivals AC Milan at San Siro. The win completed a 3-0 aggregate triumph, sending the three-time European champions through to the final in Istanbul on 10 June, where they will face either Manchester City or Real Madrid.
Despite the home advantage and a passionate San Siro crowd, Milan started the match on the front foot, creating early chances. Theo Hernandez’s powerful effort went just over the bar, and Brahim Diaz was denied by Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana, as the Rossoneri looked to overturn the first-leg deficit. Returning from injury, Rafael Leao also showcased glimpses of his talent but could not find the net.
Inter gradually asserted control as the first half progressed, with a close-range header from Edin Dzeko brilliantly saved by Milan’s Mike Maignan. In the 74th minute, Martinez finally broke the deadlock, calmly placing the ball under Maignan to seal Inter’s progress.
The final whistle sparked celebrations among Inter fans, marking the club’s first Champions League final appearance since their 2010 triumph and sending the Nerazzurri one step closer to European glory.
